The IC Chip is an item added by Project Red which allows the player to construct individual redstone circuits in one gate.
With the IC Printer the player can integrate a redstone circuit from an IC Blueprint, which is created on the IC Workbench, into an IC Chip. After this process, the chip can be converted in an IC Gate and can be placed and used in the world.
If the mod MineChem is installed, then you can decompose the IC Chip with the Chemical Decomposer into 6 Gold (Au), 3 Silicon Dioxide, 3 Carbon Nanotubes and 2 Gallium Arsenide.
