HermitCraft is a popular server and YouTube community, which was set up in 2013 by generikb, and is currently run by Xisuma and Biffa. Membership is by invitation only, there is no application process.
As of September 2021, there are 27 Hermits whitelisted and the group is on their 8th season.
The HermitPack is a Hermitcraft-based modpack but was created in an earlier season prior to Season 7; therefore not all current active hermits are included.
