The Heat Collector is a block added by Actually Additions. It will generate 40 Crystal Flux per tick (CF/t) when surrounded by four Lava blocks. Each 1,000 ticks, there is a 0.5% chance of one of the Lava blocks being consumed, or a 0.5% chance per 50 seconds, or a 36% chance per hour.

Before version 1.11-r86, each tick, there is a 0.01% chance of one of the Lava blocks being consumed, or a 0.2% chance per second, or a 11.31% chance per minute, or a 99.93% chance per hour. On average, the Heat Collector will consume one Lava block each 10,000 ticks (500 seconds or 8.33 minutes) for an average of 400,000 CF generated. If combined with a Lava Factory, the net energy generated is 250,000 CF.
