Hard Candy Ore is a block found in the FTB Chocolate modpack. It is a source of nether minerals.
Natural generation[]
Hard candy attempts to replace netherrack in the Nether 5-14(?) times per chunk in blobs of 0-20, from levels 0 to 192.
Loot[]
When broken, a loot table of either nether gold ore, nether quartz ore, or ancient debris is chosen. The weights depend on the type of pickaxe used to mine the ore.
Silk Touch and Fortune affect the selected loot table and not the loot table of hard candy ore itself.
- The "explosion" loot table is used when the ore is broken without a pickaxe, e.g. with a explosion.
- The "junk" loot table is used with pickaxes having the forge:pickaxe/junk tag (wooden and stone)
- "Common" with forge:pickaxe/common (golden, iron, copper, and waxed copper)
- "Rare" with forge:pickaxe/rare (diamond)
- "Epic" with forge:pickaxe/epic (netherite)
- "Legendary" with forge:pickaxe/legendary (netherite-iron, netherite-gold, netherite-emerald, and netherite-diamond)
