The Habitat Former is a machine added by Forestry. It allows players to manipulate the climate in a specific region.

Usage

The Habitat Former can be placed anywhere on the ground. It requires Redstone Flux and Water, Lava, or Crushed Ice to function.

In its GUI, the habitat's range can be adjusted with the slider on the left, made into a square or circular region, and the type of habitat can be chosen. The temperature and humidity will take time to rise or descend; the red line indicates where the temperature or humidity will stabilize at. The habitat's range will also affect temperature and humidity.
