The Golden Transport Pipe will speed up the movement of items that pass through it, up to a certain distance. This functionality is disabled when one of the pipes is powered for a certain distance. For Cobblestone Transport Pipes, items will lose acceleration after 2-3 blocks, while for Stone Transport Pipes, items will lose acceleration after 4-5 blocks. Multiple Golden Transport Pipes within a short distance of each other will greatly increase the speed of items passing through.
