The sickle is used for the removal of leaves. In contrast to shears, all the leaves are broken down in a room with a width of 3x3 and a depth of 2 blocks when using it. The degradation of up to 18 sheets is counted as one use of the tool and thus serves for the rapid and large-scale removal. Another difference from the shears is that the degradation doesn't drop leaves. Seedlings are, however, still dropped.
