The Goggles of Revealing is an armor added by Thaumcraft 4. It allows the user to see Aura Nodes, gain a Vis discount of 5%, and see what aspects are in devices like Crucibles and Alchemical Furnaces; this is reversed in Infusion Altars where viewing the Runic Matrix shows the essentia still required. They do not scan blocks like the Thaumometer.
