The Glowstone Illuminator is a block added by Thermal Expansion 3. It can be filled with Energized Glowstone to provide light. Illuminators can be dyed by right-clicking them with dye.

Modes

The Glowstone Illuminator has 6 modes. Modes can be switched by right-clicking the Illuminator with a Crescent Hammer or any other compatible Wrench.

• Default on: the Illuminator is on when there is no Redstone signal.
• Default off: the Illuminator is on when there is a Redstone signal.
• Scaled Proportional: the Illuminator's light level is determined by the strength of the Redstone signal.
• Scaled Inverse: the Illuminator's light level is determined by the following formula:

$\text{Light level} = 15 - \text{Redstone signal strength}$

• Always on: the Illuminator is always on and is unaffected by Redstone signals.
• Always off: the Illuminator is always off and is unaffected by Redstone signals.
