A key ingredient in Industrial Foregoing is plastic, and to produce plastic, you must place a Tree Fluid Extractor on a log where there is a dark circle. The Tree Fluid Extractor will begin to extract liquid Latex out of the log, at a rate of 4 mB per second, eventually breaking the log. Liquid Latex can be manually transferred to the Latex Processing Unit or transferred by fluid pipes. This machine requires power and water to run, so make a Pitiful Fuel Generator which doesn't require plastic to craft and use a bucket to fill the machine with water. The machine will then produce Tiny Dry Rubber. You can craft 9 Tiny Dry Rubbers into a Dry Rubber in a crafting grid. Placing Dry Rubber into a furnace will then yield plastic! Plastic Sheets can then be used to create many other types of machines.
