A demonstration of Framed Red Alloy Wire, Framed Insulated Wires, Framed Bundled Cables and Insulated Wire with their connectivity.
The Framed Bundled Cable is a redstone cable added by Project Red. The difference from the Bundled Cables is the ability to place the framed cables freely in the world without the need of an object, to which the cables are placed (shown in the picture).
It is used for transmitting redstone signals and also has several specific properties.
- It does not have the signal range limit of 8 blocks like Redstone; instead it has a range of 255 blocks (4 x 64 Cables - 1 Cable).
- It connects to all Framed Insulated Wires, but not to Framed Red Alloy Wire (shown in the picture).
- The Bundled Cable contains all 16 Framed Insulated Wires. This means that 16 different signals can be transmitted separately through one cable and the signals must be fed and reissued over Framed Insulated Wires.
