The Frame Motor is a mid-game item added by RedPower 2. It is used to move blocks. Frame motors will, when supplied with Blutricity, move blocks. When the block it moves is a Support Frame, it will move all blocks and frames connected to that frame, and so on. If the Frame Motor is trying to move a block that is trapped around other blocks, either by itself, or with other frames, nothing will move.

Frame motors can move blocks with metadata and tile entities, such as chests, separating it from pistons and other forms of block moving technology. It is also able to move blocks added by other mods. While blocks that have metadata or are from a separate mod are being moved, they use a texture that looks like a wooden crate.
