Forge Multipart is a mod created by ChickenBones. It adds the possibility to cut down blocks into smaller forms ("Multiparts") using different kinds of Saws. Also, it allows to place more than one tile into a 1x1m space. Since it has open libraries to use, many mods add the possibility to use their own blocks as Multiparts and add Multipart compatibility for their own tiles (for example: Thermal Expansion's Fluiducts or Applied Energistics 2's ME Tiles).
Originally, the mod was released to temporarily replace RedPower 2's Microblock system, however, it turned into a replacement that is also used by several other mods.
