Forestry est un mod créé par SirSengir qui ajoute un grand nombre d'items, de minerais, et de machines à Minecraft. Principalement sur l'agriculture, le mod proposant l'une des plus grandes structures multi-block permettant la création de différents types de fermes manuelles ou automatisées.
It also adds bees which can be placed in Bee Houses, Apiaries or the larger multi-block Alveary. These bees can be bred to create different bee species that provide different benefits to the player. In turn these bees can be used to breed trees which can produce a variety of fruits that can be used as a food source. The different breeds of trees eventually attract butterflies that can also be caught and bred.
Forestry is designed to function with a few other mods including, BuildCraft, IndustrialCraft 2 and Railcraft.
Forestry's machines previously required MJ to function, although now they use RF.
