A mechanic added in GregTech 6 is the addition of five new stats (Alcohol, Caffeine, Dehydration, Sugar, Fat) added to foods from GregTech 6 as well as vanilla Minecraft.
Upon consuming a food item, the player's stats will increase by whatever stats the food has. As each stat increases, the player will gain status effects that increase in strength. Additionally, when a given stat reaches 100, the player will suffer 2 () points of damage every 50 ticks, typically resulting in death. All 5 stats will decrease by 1 point every 50 ticks to a minimum value of 0.
