The Fir Tree is a tree added by Redwoods. It comes in two varieties, the normal one, grown with a single Sapling, and the mega one, grown with 4 Saplings in a 2x2 square. Normal Fir Trees can be found in Lush Redwood Forests, Temperate Rainforests, Snowy Rainforests and Alpine biome, while mega ones can be found in Snowy Rainforests and Temperate Rainforests.
Mega Fir Trees have a 2x2 trunk made of different Fir Logs which only have bark on two of the four sides, and are also much taller. Fir Logs of any kind can be crafted into planks, which can then be crafted into slabs, stairs, doors, fences and fence gates.
