The Fan is a block from the OpenBlocks mod. This block can push entities within about 9 blocks in front of it, and a couple blocks to the sides of the front. As of version 1.2.6, the Fan requires redstone signal to work.
The blowing effect cannot be blocked with any blocks. Fans can be put on top of each other to increase the force. Unlike water, they can push Endermen without problems.
