This footpiece upgrade is a necessity if I'm going to be exploring dangerous terrain. It uses steam to lower fall damage taken from long drops.

The Fall Assist is a Steam Exosuit Footpiece upgrade from Flaxbeard's Steam Power. When a player has this upgrade installed in the Foot Slot, their fall damage will be significantly decreased. If the damage they would take is less than 6 points, they will take no damage. Otherwise, it will be 1/3 of the damage that they would take. It will consume, by default, the amount of damage that the player takes divided by 2. The divisor can be configured in the configuration file.
