A simple Minecraft modpack focusing on performance and graphics enhancements.
Version info

Fabulously Optimized is a Fabric-based modpack that focuses on performance, graphics and minor tweaks that "feel like vanilla". The pack is hosted on CurseForge, Modrinth and GitHub.

Fabulously Optimized was created to introduce more people into Sodium and Fabric by providing some features that they are familiar with from OptiFine and Forge. Since then, the pack has expanded to provide near-full OptiFine parity, some Bedrock Edition parity and additional annoyance fixes.

  • The pack was initially created on July 17, 2020 – five days after the initial release of Sodium.
  • Fabulously Optimized was one of the first modpacks that used Fabric, initially with the help of Jumploader.
  • Fabulously Optimized was one of the first open-source modpacks on CurseForge. On February 17, 2021, the pack was also published on GitHub, which, as of 2024, has received over 800 stars.
  • Fabulously Optimized was one of the first modpacks on Modrinth.
  • Fabulously Optimized did not contain any config files until 2.0.0b1, due to concerns that users' config files would reset upon updating the modpack. With that version, however, a solution was found through using mod YOSBR, and the change was later backported to 1.10.0.
    • After 3.7.0, all included config files contain only the changed (necessary) lines and no extra spaces.
  • Fabulously Optimized has a strong focus on language support. Users can translate bundled resource packs, the website, and are encouraged to translate the mods themselves.
  • The creator of Fabulously Optimized actively contributes to the mods that are in the pack or planned to add to the pack, in order to improve the experience for everyone using them.
