The Exothermic Projector is a steam tool upgrade from Flaxbeard's Steam Power. It can be installed in any steam tool's core slot in the Engineering Table. It will automatically smelt all of the drops from mined blocks, at the cost of the configurable steam-per-durability * the number of items smelted.
