The Essentia Valve is a block added by Thaumcraft 4. It functions like a standard Essentia Tube except that it can be turned off manually by hand or with a redstone signal.

The essentia valve acts like a normal length of tubing, except it can be turned off by hand or a redstone signal. When this is done the flow off [sic] essentia through it will be cut off.
