Equivalent Exchange 2 is a magic mod originally created by x3n0ph0b3, later maintained by Pahimar, and no longer maintained by anyone. It allows users to transmute materials into other materials, using various items and machines. Its purpose is to add end-game and god-like content. It adds a system called EMC, which is the value of all items. This value differs from item to item, and is used in determining how much of one material another requires.
Equivalent Exchange 2 is no longer being developed, and Pahimar has focused his time to the new version, Equivalent Exchange 3. In this time, a port of EE2 has been made, called ProjectE.
