The Desert Emulation Upgrade is an upgrade item added by Gendustry. When inserted into an Industrial Apiary, it will effectively make the bees inside act as if the apiary was inside of the Desert biome. It increases power usage by 20%. An Industrial Apiary can hold only one of these upgrades.
