Desert Cotton is a plant added by Misty World. It is a tall decorative succulent that grows on Prairie Grass. It can be farmed in the Misty World's hot climate zones. It can be harvested faster with an axe.
Desert Cotton seeds grown on Farmland on a hot climate eventually grows into some crops of various heights. The top-most section of the crop has yellow flowers bloom; after a month it becomes white. Stems and flowers can be harvested by right-clicking. Leaving the bottom block of Desert Cotton in place allows it to regrow in the next suitable season. Higher segments eventually break and yield Sticks.
Desert Cotton is a good source of String. Desert Cotton Flowers and Desert Cotton Seeds can be used as a source of Compost.
