Daizuli Transport Pipe

ModBuildCraft
TypePipe

The Daizuli Transport Pipe is a new type of Transport Pipe added by BuildCraft which interacts indirectly with the Lazuli Transport Pipe to route or filter items in the pipe system. While the Lapis Transport Pipe paints items flowing through the pipe, the Daizuli Transport Pipe routes the painted items in configuratable directions (see Usage). The Daizuli Transprot Pipe connects to all other transport pipes.

If the mod MineChem is installed, then you can decompose the Daizuli Transport Pipe with the Chemical Decomposer into specific chemical compounds of MineChem.

BuildCraft transport pipes route filter

A simple pipe system with Wooden, Stone, Lazuli and Daizuli Transport Pipes to demonstrate a route/filter system (Explanation in the text).

The picture on the right shows an example of an item transport system with the ability to route items purposefully.

The Chests on the bottom contains items which should be transported to the top chests. But the items in the lower right chest should be transported in the upper left chest, and the items from the lower left to the upper right.

The items in the chest be pulled out without Wooden Transport Pipes and painted in the subsequent with Lazuli Transport Pipes. On the right all items are painted green and on the left all items are painted orange.

The Iron Transport Pipe in the lower T-junction serves to prevent item between the lower chests that are transported back and forth.

Now the items follow the pipe system upwards and reaches the Daizuli Transport Pipe at the upper T-junction. This pipe is configured that all orange items should be routed to the left side, while all items with other or none color are passed to the right.

With the Wrench the player can change the output direction of the Daizuli Transport Pipe for the routed items. The direction without a white band and some colored marks (in the picture the left side), indicates the direction in which the items, with the set color, are transported. The sides with the white band (in the picture the right and bottom side) indicates the directions for item with other or none color. With the Wrench and additional sneaking, the player can configure the color of the routed items, which is displayed on the pipe.
