The Cutting Machine is a machine added by GregTech 5. It allows the player to cut objects, usually blocks, into smaller pieces. It requires Water or Lubricant to operate; when using Lubricant, operation time and energy expenditure is halved.

The Cutting Machine can be used to craft Wood Planks out of Wood logs at a 6:1 ratio, Bolts out of Rods, IndustrialCraft 2 Item Casings out of Plates, Slabs out of Wood and Stone blocks, Glass Panes out of Glass blocks, and Plates out of metal and gem blocks.

Like every electric machine in GregTech 5, the Cutting Machine comes in 5 variants, one for each voltage from Low to Insane.
