CoFH Core is a library package created by TeamCoFH. It contains common code for Thermal Expansion, Thermal Dynamics, Redstone Arsenal and others mods by the CoFH team. It is required for all those mods.
On top of that, in the 1.12.2 version it also adds serveral enchantments, commands, a friend list and several minor tweaks to the game. These include:
- Allowing Bows enchanted with Infinity to fire even without Arrows in the inventory.
- Displaying death messages for mobs renamed with a Name Tag.
- Adding an option to disable all particles.
- Allowing multiple torches with different mounting points to occupy the same space.
