The Carbuncle is a passive mod added by Ars Nouveau. It is also known as a Starbuncle in some versions.
Carbuncles spawn in wooded areas, such as Forests and Birch Forests.
A wild Carbuncle can be tamed by dropping a Gold Nugget near it. Once tamed, it drops Carbuncle Shards that can be crafted into a Carbuncle Charm. A Carbuncle Charm can then be used on a Summoning Crystal to summon it as a tamed Carbuncle. A tamed Carbuncle can be used for item transport from chests, as well as farming Sourceberries.
