Building Wands is a mod by nicguzzo. It adds building wands, which are a powerful tool that allows players to quickly build walls, floors, fill areas, duplicate portions of blocks, etc.
The wand's mode can be set using the GUI accessed by the hotkey (check Controls setting). It may be necessary to remap (change) it to resolve hotkey clashes with other mods.
Available modes are:
- Direction
- Row/Column
- Fill
- Area
- Grid
- Line
- Circle
- Copy
- Paste
- Tunnel
- Vein
- Blast
Fill allows the player to right-click part of an area, and right-click the second location to fill the area with that block in the form of a plane. This can be effective for building out walls and platforms. When making the selection prior to confirm with second right-click, a ghost image will show of the area to be placed. If the player does not have enough of the necessary blocks, an error message will show in chat.
Area fills in gaps or places a row of blocks next to an existing blocks such as an incomplete wall.
