The Buddy Block is a functional block added by Better With Mods. It will output a Redstone signal to it's facing side everytime a block update occurs next to it. The facing side is the only unique side of the block and it will face the player upon being placed.
Placing two Buddy Blocks next to each other will create a continuous block update cycle, creating a redstone clock.
