For a crop to be planted, the Botany Pot must first be filled with a block of Dirt. Right-clicking it with a Dirt block will fill it. A seed may then be planted and left to grow. Visually, the crop will start very small, and gradually grow to full size. When the visual growing effect stops, it may be harvested by a right-click. A botany pot with dirt takes 60 seconds to grow.
