The Bookstand is a block from Mystcraft that is used to hold Linking Books and Descriptive Books. While a book is on the stand it is immune to any damage from the world. This can help prevent the loss of the player's age or their way home.

Usage[]
Place it in the world, and right click it while holding a Linking Book or Descriptive Book. To remove the book from the stand the player can either sneak right-click it with an empty hand or right click it and take the book out of the GUI.
