Biomes o' Plenty (dt. Der Überfluss an Biomen) ist eine Modifikation von TDWP_FTW, ted80, Amnet und Adubbz, welches die Welt-Generierung ändert. Sie fügt 80 neue Biomen, 12 Unterbiome, neue Juwelen und eine ganz neue Dimension hinzu. Es kommen auch noch neue Rüstungen, Pflanzen, Essen und Werkzeuge zum Spiel hinzu. Diese Modifikation ist nicht nur auf realistische Biome fukusiert; es gibt da auch Fantasie-Biome, wie z.B. der Fungi Forest (dt. Fungi Wald) und Garden (dt. Garten).

Sie fügt eine unermessliche Menge an Biomen hinzu, für den Spieler zum Erforschen und ist kompatibel mit viele andere Modifikationen wie Mystcraft.

Mit einigen Modifikationenpakete ist Biomes O' Plenty standardmäßig deaktiviert und kann durch den FTB Launcher aktiviert werden. Der Spieler muss dann "Biomes O Plenty" nutzen anstatt "Default" als Weltgenerierung-Option, wenn Biomes O' Plenty für die Weltgenerierung genutzt werden sollte.

Biomes O' Plenty ersetzt ExtrabiomesXL in den offiziellen Modifikationenpakete ab der Minecraft-Version 1.6.4 .

Eine ganz neue Dimension, das "Promised Land" wurde in den älteren Versionen hinzugefügt. Es erschafft eine andere Welt für den Spieler, gefüllt mit Biomes O' Plenty Blöcken und Kreaturen zum Erforschen. Es stellt eine Welt dar wie der Aether mit schwebende Inseln und Vögel. Auch neue Pflanzen und Erze werden in diese Dimension generiert.
