The Apiary is a tile entity added by Pam's HarvestCraft. It is used to generate Honeycombs, Waxcombs, and Bee Grubs using a Queen Bee.
The GUI has 18 output slots for produce, and 1 input slot for a Queen Bee. Every time a product is generated, the Queen Bee loses 1 durability. When it reaches 0 durability, it can be turned into Royal Jelly which in turn can be combined with a Bee Grub to produce a new Queen Bee. Queen Bees are initially obtained by breaking naturally spawning Beehives.
The Apiary generates products every 3500 ticks. The Apiary detects flower blocks and other Apiaries in a 2 block radius on the same Y level as it. For every flower the amount of ticks required is provides a x0.95 multiplier; this means that the fastest processing time possible is approximately 1022 ticks for each output product when it is surrounded by flowers. When another apiary is detected inside of the radius, the processing time is reduced to 85% of the origin, increases operational time by a factor of 1.176.
