The Altar Maker is a creative only item added by Blood Magic. It is not obtainable in survival by the player except if they are using cheats. When shift-right clicked, it will toggle through the different altar levels. When right clicked onto a Blood Altar, it will build the blocks around the altar so the player can easily upgrade an altar.
