Alpha Yeti Fur is a component added by Twilight Forest. It is dropped by the Alpha Yeti and is used to create Yeti Armor. All armor pieces are automatically enchanted with Protection II and the Yeti Boots additionally receive Feather Falling IV. The armor set's protection is slightly better than Diamond.
