- This page is about the community and group of modpacks. For other uses, see All the Mods.
All the Mods (or All the Packs to refer specifically to the group, or ATM) is a community and group of modpacks created by the ATM Team. It originated as one modpack, All the Mods, created by whatthedrunk for a private server, but became a group of modpacks with different goals and themes.
Although a few of All the Mods' modpacks are hosted on Technic as an alternate to CurseForge, the modpacks hosted on Technic are no longer updated due to a lack of interest. The primary place for downloading the All the Mods modpacks is on CurseForge.
History[]
All the Mods originated as one modpack, All the Mods, created by whatthedrunk, originally for Minecraft 1.8.9 for a short time before updating to 1.9 then 1.10 in quick succession. Although originally created as a private pack for a private server, it rose to popularity quickly, especially due to being one of the first kitchensink modpacks for the newer versions (with no Feed The Beast modpacks to compete with it), being frequently updated, being liberal in adding new mods (such as Actually Additions, AbyssalCraft OpenComputers, Environmental Tech and Cyberware) and being close to the community (especially through their now-closed CurseVoice server and current Discord server). whatthedrunk made a team and made other modpacks, including All The Sky (by Ordinator and others), All the Mods Expert (by al132 and others), All the Mods Lite, and All The Mods Expert: Remastered (by godzirrah and others).
When Minecraft 1.11.2 was released, All the Mods 2 was released. All the Blocks was introduced as a pet project of whatthedrunk, which added several decorational blocks to the game. All The Mods in mid-2017 also introduced All The Creators, a private server for many mod authors, streamers, YouTubers, and a few friends. Minecraft 1.11.2 was slowly abandoned after the release of Minecraft 1.12, and so All the Mods 3 was introduced. All the Mods 3: Lite was later released.
All The Mods' specialized modpacks have had some success, but their main success has been in their general kitchensink modpacks[1]. Slowpoke and tfox83 have cited their successful and very active Discord community to make an FTB Discord, as well as analyzed their modpacks for other ideas[2].
