The Aether Portal Block is a block added by The Aether. The block is generated when an Aether Portal is formed. Standing in the block will teleport the player from the Overworld to the Aether, and vice versa. They also disappear when a block is placed next to it. This block is breakable in creative mode, and it plays the glass breaking sound when broken.

Like Water and Lava, the portal animated texture is procedurally generated. The Aether Portal Block looks like a blueish recolor of the Nether Portal block but with the same animation.
