The Advanced Smelter Module is an Addon module for minecarts in Steve's Carts that acts like a furnace, allowing a cart to smelt a specified item. The Advanced Smelter is an upgraded Smelter, allowing the player to specify the maximal amount of items he wants to smelt, and where to put any processed items.

When mounted on a cart using the Cart Assembler, the player will have to put an input item in the Advanced Smelter's GUI, for example Wood. The output slot will then show what the smelter will produce. In the case of any Wood, it will be Charcoal.
The Advanced Smelter can be set to put all produced Charcoal into any Engine module. To do so, click the box with the chest icon until it displays an icon of an engine. Any output from the Advanced Smelter will be put into the shown module.
To limit the amount of items the Advanced Smelter will process, you can use the production limitation GUI. When you click on the "Inf" box, it changes to production limitation mode. Click the upper and lower arrows to respectively increase and decrease the production limit.
- Shift-click on an arrow to increase/decrease by 10
- Ctrl-click on an arrow to increase/decrease by 64
Before starting an operation, the Advanced Smelter will drain some energy from any Engine module. This takes half a second. The Advanced Smelter will then try to smelt the input item every few seconds. After an operation, the Advanced Smelter has to recharge, by draining more energy from any Engine module, before starting a new operation. Any input materials will be taken from any Storage module, and any output materials will be put into the specified module.
