Advanced Machines is an addon for the IndustrialCraft 2 mod. It was originally created by Zippinus then later updated and rewritten by AtomicStryker. Immibis wasn't happy about the way that AtomicStryker implemented the machines for the following reasons:
- Only go up to 7500 RPM (equivalent of 75% heat on Induction Furnace)
- They can only accept LV, while the Induction Furnace can take MV .
- They take 3 EU/t rather than the Induction Furnace's 1 EU/t when idling.
- The Rotary Macerator has addictive macerating, which he doesn't think anyone uses.
So, he made his own version, which contains just direct Induction Furnace style equivalents.
Advanced Machines adds nine electrical machines to IndustrialCraft 2 that enhance the production of materials. Upgraded versions of the Macerator, Compressor, Extractor, Recycler, Canning Machine, Ore Washing Plant and the Metal Former.
Advanced Machines also adds Generator Arrays, which allows the player to build lag-free green generator arrays of Solar Panels, Water Mills and Wind Mills.
