The Advanced Lubrication System is an upgrade added by Immersive Engineering for the Mining Drill. Like all upgrades, it's applied in the Engineer's Workbench.
Originally, the Advanced Lubrication System allowed the Mining Drill to work slightly faster. In more recent versions, the upgrade has been changed, and reduces wear to the drill head instead of increasing mining speed.
